In "My vintage wedding in Portugal - The Quinta" we had the pleasure of making a fairy tale day wedding dream come true and witness one of the most surprising vintage wedding days ever! People usually choose this vintage wedding venue for their vintage wedding theme, which is an authentic estate with over 5 centuries, but this couple had an even more intricate plan to recreate a retro wedding...

    The bride and groom wanted to bring alive the atmosphere of another time period, and bring to their guests amazement and joy. Therefore, they hired actors dressed up as people from 2 centuries ago which could not surprise the guests more by placing them in a vintage period. The large garden was decorated with vintage furniture to make an old-fashion lounge with a horse-drawn carriage as one of the main parts of the decoration, making everyone comfortable whilst drinks were served to their guests.

   

As they couldn´t be more serious about their wedding day, they first got legally married in “My Vintage Wedding Portugal - The Quinta” and then it was in the Chapel of the vintage Quinta that the couple received their religious blessing, where they were claimed husband and wife by their loved ones on the forecourt. At the end of the ceremony they took some wedding pictures with the dressed up actors. 

     

The show went on in the back yard where a wonderful huge long wooden vintage table was set under a tent. The vintage decoration for the wedding reception was fantastic with lots of wild flowers in pastel colours, golden plates and napkin rings with beautiful high chandeliers that made a dream table scenario. The night took over “My Vintage Wedding Portugal- The Quinta” and you could feel the ambience with surrounding nature with nothing that could disturb this perfect day.

 

The main building of My Vintage Wedding Portugal - the Quinta and the primary entrances were decorated with multi-coloured lights that contrasted with this vintage style wedding, on purpose since they wanted to recreate the ambience of Alice in Wonderland which was the theme of this vintage wedding. This ambience remained until the end of the night, even in the big living room where the dance floor was set to permit the just married couple to celebrate their successful amazing vintage wedding in Portugal. After the reception dinner they made their way to the big living room were they cut the first slice of the wedding cake, made a cheerful toast and finally the dance floor was theirs for the rest of the night.
